Bentley cars are selling well. In fact, during the first half of this year, sales are up 23% to 5,254 compared to the first half of 2013.
The new Continental GT and Flying Spur models have been well received, as has the new V8 engine, although Bentley didn’t provide info on what the sales mix is between it and the venerable W12.
Sales in the US, which is where Bentley sells the most cars remained strong, up 8% over last year. Most of the sales growth, however, came in China and the Middle East, which were up 61% and 27% respectivley.
2013 was the best year in company’s history with the highest number of deliveries and profits and it looks like 2014 could be even better.
