Last year, we received word that former Lotus CEO Danny Bahar had started an new venture to build cars including custom Bentleys. The company has begun to complete some Bentley projects, so today we’re taking a look what they can do for a Bentley Continental GT.
ARES starts with Bentley already spectacular Continental GT. Beginning under the hood, the 6.0l W12 is massaged to 705 horsepower with a ECU tune and the addition of a titanium sports exhaust system. If you’re not familiar with how one of these systems looks and sounds, check out YouTube for videos of the Bentley’s Continental GT3-R, which features a titanium exhaust from Akropovich right from the factory. Trust us, it sounds amazing.
Staying on the outside of the car, a complete, lightweight body kit is installed. The kit includes carbon fiber front and rear bumpers, rear diffuser, side skirts, and front grill. The hood is also modified with custom cooling outlets. A custom front splitter completes the aero package.
Inside the car, the carbon fiber treatment continues. The customer sports steering wheel can include precious materials and ARES craftsmen build new interior panels from customer Nappa leather.
The changes completed by ARES at their Modena, Italy facility are fully EU homologated and have a 12 month warranty.
